March herald us into the Holy Season of Lent. Lent is the time to reflect on how we had used our freedom to judge he many opportunities for loving presented us in this life.
Have we judged lovingly?
Have we judged from the heart?
Have we judged as Jesus would?
We appropriate judgments everyday. God gives us the freedom to decide how to carry ourselves through situations in our daily journey. Again, we decide to follow God, or walk away from Him. Our judgment always rests on whether we give in to our focus on self and so give in to pride, comfort and personal gain. But Christ always judged in a manner, not insisting on His beig God. His was always a response in humility, obedience and trust.
Our Prayer is that our responses in life be made on the same judgments - to forget ourselves, pick our cross and follow Him.
