FORGIVE
This month, we commemorate Ash Wednesday. God reminds us that He has so loved us, as to gift us with life, and that we are but dust that he picked up, breathed life into, and will wither away into dust again.
This reality brings us to the humility of forgiveness - realizing that the act is truly divine. Definitely difficult by human standards, but definitely too, not impossible. God has created us into His image and likeness. We have within us, God's spirit which will enable us to let go of hurt, pride, even painful rejection, and forgive.
God brings us to mind not ourselve, but the other. In this, is love, that he loved first. God is God. But rather than consider things only from, by, and in His way, He extends to love us all, forgiving our trespasses day by day.
Our prayer is that we reach out to God's grace and forgive those who have wronged us.
